Not much is known before the adoption of Nutmeg the hamster, but Brooklyn became the proud mommy of her on Brooklyn's birthday 8-8-10. Everyone loved her, and she was even well known by the neighbors because of her pleasant disposition, and beauty. She lived a very short life here with our family, but we know she is in a good place. She left us unexpectedly because before she died she was in the middle of running around, and appeared to be normal.
We will have a burial tomorrow around 4:00 pm with a short viewing right before.
She is survived by her momma, Brooklyn, and the rest of the Cochran family :(.
Good-Bye, Nutmeg! We miss you!

That is a shame.
oh so sad. time to get a new one and call it cinnamon because cinnamon and nutmeg go so good together!
Nutmeg, you were the best. Rest in peace. Heaven will be oh, so much better with another rodent in the ranks!
We named our first hamster, Basil. We loved having Siberian Dwarf Hamsters before we had kids. Tell Brooklyn that we are sorry for her loss..
