I Have Food Addictions

I am such a silly girl when it comes to food! If I don't like it I WON'T eat it. Even if I am starving......in fact, I'd rather starve than eat something disgusting! I could eat the same thing 3 times a day for 2 months straight!
The summer our family moved to SLC I came across a yummy recipe for chicken enchilada's. The kids and I ate chicken enchilada's for 2 months straight, for lunch and dinner. Not even exaggerating! Now I can't even eat it. So I do that........I get stuck on wanting the same thing until I can't ever eat it again. I do that with eating out at places. Once I get my mind on something I'm craving I don't eat anything else.  Here are most of the addictions that have come and gone:

Cafe Rio was of course my most extreme addiction! I ate there for 3 months almost every day! I did get every 10th one free! Now I could only eat it once a month.

The Pasta Factory in St. George was an extreme addiction about 3 years ago. Fettuccine Alfredo, and their bread sticks!!   Now I can't even eat it anymore because I ate it too much!

Turkey sandwich from Jimmy John's.

When I was pregnant with Brooklyn I ate at Chili's 2 weeks in a row....chicken fried Chicken with a side of heart burn!

I loved New York Burrito so much I could eat two of them with no problem, and they were huge! When they went out of business in St. George I quit eating there. This would still be my favorite place to eat. I don't think I would ever get sick of New York Burrito!!! I ate t his all through my pregnancy with London and Hailey!

And the most recent addiction was Poppy Seed Chicken, and now after making it 8 times in the last two weeks I'm through with it! If you have any good recipes for me please, please give them to me. I need some new things to try!

Sunday....Oh What A Day

Hailey is old enough to know that saying loudly during the prayer, "I WANT A BANANA, I WANT A BANANA, I WANT A BANANA" is WRONG! There were other joyous moments to go along with that, but the last straw was when Jocelyn decided she didn't want to banana that was already mushy and chewed up in her mouth. She was so kind to spit it all over my clothes, hands and the floor. I got up and left church right after that!
After church I made my friend, Bryanna's yummy blueberry sauce, and my mom made delicious waffles.
Afterward, we were sitting out on the porch with Grandpa. I noticed that Jocelyn was really into him. She doesn't open up to many people. She usually remains quiet around people. She was sitting on Grandpa's lap asking him all kinds of questions, and rubbing his hair. Telling him how soft his hair was, and how she loved his mustache. He was trying to read and when she would tickle his mustache his upper lip would twitch upward. It was so funny because he didn't mind a bit. Then she picked up his hands and would ask him over and over again, "Why you hands all cracked up?". She even called him a girl once, but he ended that quickly, and let her know that he was not a girl!
Sunday evening we headed over to my friends 47th birthday, and had had some cake and ice-cream.
The day kept getting better and better, and I needed that because during church I was about to lose it!

London & Jocelyn

LONDON
My daughters (Brooklyn and London) are at their other dad's house. I decided to let them go see him for 3 weeks since they didn't get to see him for a few months. Yesterday I decided to pay them a surprise visit. London told me that her tooth hurt pretty bad. It was one that had a root canal, and had a silver cap on it. I looked at her tooth and her tooth was majorly abscessed. I immediately took her to the dentist. The dentist gave her a prescription for an antibiotic, and then sent us over to an orthodontist to make an appointment for them to pull her tooth. She'll get it pulled next week when the infection dies down, and then they'll put in some spacers.
I was so glad I went to visit them otherwise I know Jon wouldn't have taken her to the dentist. He just doesn't think things like that are important.

JOCELYN
This morning Jocelyn and Hailey were playing in the front seat of the Expedition while I was cleaning out the back of it. Hailey didn't know that Jocelyn's arm was in the way and closed the door on her little arm. It was so sad! She wouldn't stop crying and didn't really want to use it so I had a feeling it was broken. Matt didn't think it was, but I wanted to make sure. I didn't want to be up all night in the ER so I took her to the little clinic in Orderville. They took X-rays and sure enough one bone is broken all the way through and the other is buckled a little. She seemed fine after they put a splint on it. They said it will heal in 2-3 weeks. The good news is that we have insurance now......yippppeeeeee!

Bad Luck

It feels like everything that could go wrong went wrong this week.
Last week Matt was using our friends, The Jensen's exercise equipment and lost his grip. His foot went right through the wall. How embarrassing! I was so sick about it I couldn't eat all day long.
I am house sitting and feeding their animals until Tuesday night.
Yesterday Jocelyn found  a sharpie marker somewhere *don't know where* and drew ALL OVER my friend, Kelley Jensen's wall while I was out feeding and watering her dog, and the chickens. I am devastated about the whole thing. I was able to wash most of it off, but it took a lot of the paint off. Hopefully we can find the right color of paint.
Last week Kelley's dog got into their chicken coop and killed 3 of her chickens. They had two dogs, but they got rid of the one that killed the chickens. I am so stressed out that the dog they still have is going to attack the chickens while I am there, and that would freak me out. I saw the other dog kill the chickens, and it traumatized me. When I went out there the other day I thought the dog was inside the coop with the chickens. It wasn't but it made me almost have a heart attack. I don't need more bad news to tell the Jensen's.
Kelley's *new* cat was no where to be found for  3 days. She has had it for about a week and it hasn't eaten anything. Matt emailed me this morning to tell me that he saw it outside underneath the car. I went out this morning and  can't find it anywhere. I hope we find it. It's such an amazing cat! I just can't figure out how it got out. I put food and water in some shade out there so hopefully it will come get some.
I just feel horrible that my kids don't respect other people things. I'll have to get a babysitter when I come help them patch the hole Matt made, and paint over the marker disaster because I feel like I don't want to bring them back here. In fact I don't want to take them to anyones house. I told Hailey that we can't come back because they are naughty here and she cried for a long time.
I probably need all the prayers I can get so that nothing else goes wrong.

Chillin In Apple Valley Where There Ain't No Apples

I am staying in Apple Valley at my friends house at the moment. Her Grandma passed away, so she's at her funeral in Kansas City, Missouri. I'm house sitting and taking care of her chickens and dog.
One of my friends has the feedjit thing that shows when people look at her blog and where they are from. I thought it was cool so now I have it too. I noticed that since Apple Valley is so close to Colorado City, Arizona aka Polygville that is where it shows I am from on her feedjit. I just didn't want any of you to think I moved away and became a Polygy polyg plig.
Matt, the girls and I have been going out to see our new place just because we are so excited to move there on June 17th. Remember it has an awesome park, so we let the kids play at the splash pad. It's a blast!
We don't know how to find out what ward we'll be in. Anyone know how to find out? Well obviously I shouldn't ask around the park. This is what happened when I did........
I walked up to a nice looking man, and asked him if I could ask him a random question. He was way nice and said, "Sure". I asked him if he was LDS, because I was trying to find out what ward we are in. He said he wasn't. Infact he told me that his dad has 3 wives, and he was from Colorado City, Arizona. He told me it was a weird long story ( I REALLY wanted to know more of the story), but he was kicked out, and now none of his family will talk to him. He reassured me that he was STILL a nice guy. I told him that I was sure he was, and that I am friends with people from all different walks of life. He was a nice guy, but after that I didn't dare to ask anyone else! Well everyone KEEP SWEET! I think that's what the Polygamists are told anyway........
