I went to Tuacahn on July 20th to watch Cats with my mom, Sarah (my sister), and her cute family! It was way fun.

Her second cast that was waterproof

Jocelyn has had three casts! She broke her arm in May when Hailey slammed it in the Expedition car door. The just put in in a splint with an ace bandage around it. The second time she had the cast off for a week then she broke it again when she climbed on the trampoline with the big kids and London double bounced her. That's when she got her pink waterproof cast. The third cast is because she pulled the pink waterproof one off. She got a purple cast that isn't waterproof. She gets it off in a week.

I'm Getting Braces

This is very boring, it has been bothering me for a long time so I'm glad I finally got it taken care of so it doesn't wear on me anymore!

I've been worried about the welfare of my teeth because I hadn't been to the dentist for 2 years, and I just knew that I had all kinds of cavities that needed root canals. Well, I went to my dentist here in St. george. The X-ray showed that I had an infection in a tooth that had had a root canal and a crown. So the dentist went in and he found that he had missed a root when he did the root canal a few years ago! I didn't know that it was possible to drill right through a crown, then fill it with a white filling. The smell was horendous, but he said that's a good sign because then he knows that he's in the right spot! I also had a dark filling replaced with a white filling because it was bothering me that it could be seen when my mouth was open in pictures and stuff. I also needed a crown on a bottom tooth, and had no idea! So when I've always had a space inbetween my two top front teeth. I had an accident that broke off half of one of the front teeth. When the dentist fixed it he made the gap not as big. Now the fake tooth has turned yellow, and they are chipped a little bit.

Insurance will pay to fix it with a crown, but before I get it fixed I'm going to get some braces to straighten my front teeth so there isn't a gap at all. I get the braces on the end of september and I only have to wear them for 3 months. The Orthodontist is going to do clear ones, and it will be on the top front 6 teeth. It will be nice to love my smile since I never have! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that when I was walking into the dentist there are glass windows that are like mirror so I never check myself out because I know that people can see that are in the offices. Well, this particular day I decided I to just look quickly to see what I looked like. Big mistake! I ran into a pole while checking myself out........embarassing!

Rambling.......And More Rambling

When Matt’s alarm went off at 4:50 am I couldn’t go back to sleep. I had to wake up at 7 am anyway to get ready for my dentist appointment at 8 am so I just stayed up and cleaned my messy house.



I had been dreaming about the T.V. show 24 all night so it didn‘t feel like I had a very restful night. We have been getting them on DVD at the Library starting with season one. They are so addicting! Now we are on season two.



My mom babysat Hailey and Jocelyn while I went to my appointment. Afterward we went to lunch at guess where…………….Café Rio! I hadn’t been for a couple of months.



Living with Jocelyn is like living with a puppy! I had to go to Best Buy today to get a new mouse and keyboard. Jocelyn has chewed up the ends of two keyboards, which are metal………ewww! She chewed the part of the mouse that you use to scroll down with. I just don’t get the chewing thing! I bought her a chewy toy, and she doesn’t like it.



And the last thing I want to ramble off is that I have been so lonely here. I like where we live, and everything but on the weeks that Matt works his long weeks I don’t really have any adult conversation. I am going to start school the end of August so maybe that will help.

I finally have a home phone, and the internet. Woo hoo!
